Unique Curtain Poles
We are known for our original designs and innovative solutions. Our curtain poles are available in a variety of diameters in wrought iron, stainless steel, oak, maple, cherry, walnut or sapele. All poles are supplied with wrought iron or stainless steel fittings.
Curtain poles and drapery arms are made to order and supplied ready to fit. Ceiling brackets and recess brackets are part of our standard range. Bespoke brackets and spigot joints (to join solid steel poles) are also available.
Specialist experience underpins our business. In 1996 Daryl invented the passing ring and bracket system for bay window curtain poles and in 2003 we patented his award winning stainless steel flexible bend.
For made to measure curtain poles, drapery arms (portiere rods), long span curtain poles, bespoke and DIY bay window curtain poles, we lead the market in affordable design, personal service and quality.
Hand Made in Devon
All our products are hand made in Devon. The business is based on the craftsmanship and designs of founder Daryl Ford. A blacksmith for over 25 years, Daryl started the curtain pole business in 1993 and he still does all the forgework.
Our wrought iron finials, brackets and rings are made with a high level of traditional hand forging and some stainless steel finials are also hand forged. All stainless steel finials and brackets are hand polished.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our made to measure curtain poles and our customers tell us we supply the best steel curtain poles in the UK. We also offer exceptional value as our prices are very competitive.
From 1994 to 2005 we supplied the John Lewis Partnership with bespoke curtain poles. In 2005 we decided to change the business and sell direct, although we still supply some independent shops and interior designers.
