Our standard ceiling bracket is designed to support the ends or centre of a pole. Ceiling brackets provide an alternative to wall brackets, provided that the ceiling is suitable for fixing and supporting the weight of the pole and the curtains. If you want to use ceiling brackets, we need to know the bracket drop (from the ceiling to the centre of the pole, this is 4cm as standard. The image shows a 20mm bracket with 4cm drop.
We offer a choice of fixings: traditional coach screws with standard wall plugs - these are fitted with a spanner; or Gripit® fixings for plasterboard with countersunk screws. Please remember to add a Gripit® 18mm flat drill bit or a spanner from Accessories, if you need these. We also sell a Gripit® undercutting tool, for use where your plasterboard is tight against a lintel or other hard surface.
